Pt100 Temperature Sensor
The different Pt100 temperature sensor variants can be connected to our new generation oxygen, pH and CO2 meters. They can be used to determine the temperature during experiments and for automatic temperature compensation of the measurements. It is recommended to connect a temperature sensor to the oxygen, pH or CO2 meters when temperature changes are expected during experiments, to ensure correct temperature compensation and precise measurements. The standard temperature sensor (TEP) has a tip diameter of 3 mm, while the TEP-(FTC) variant has a smaller tip diameter (1.9 mm) so it can be integrated in flow-through cells or used if your application requires a narrower sensor. The third variant TEP-(FTM) can be integrated into metal flow-through cells with O2 sensors FTM for monitoring in pipes. The TEP-OTR is a special temperature sensor with 1/8 “ thread that can be used with the Permeation Cell for oxygen transmission rate measurements. All temperature sensors are delivered with an ODU circular connector. The TEP-(FTC) and TEP-(FTM) are also available with open cable ends, so together with the Adapter Cable Pt100 for EOM they can be connected to DOTR EOM boards. It is also possible to attach a different connector type for 4-wire temperature sensors. We give a detailed description of attaching a connector to the open temperature sensor cable end in the Fibox 4 instruction manual.
