News from DOTR and the Sensor-World

At this years’ General Assembly of the European Geosciences Union (EGU) in Vienna in late April 2017, DOTR presented its solutions for microprofiling and modular O2, pH and CO2 mapping. And all 15,500 scientists visiting the assembly had the chance to win an Ultra-HD-Action Camera when visiting the DOTR’ booth.

In January 1997 - exactly 20 years ago - DOTR was founded as spin-off from the University of Regensburg. Still at the same site in Bavaria, DOTR is today one of the leaders in the field of chemical optical sensor technology!

The new CaliPlate is a small 10-well plate which offers its users’ a fast and effortless way to non-invasive mapping of pH distributions together with the pH Sensor Foils and the VisiSens Detector Unit. Handling is easy as no calibration vessel or pieces of sensor foil have to be prepared beforehand.

To ease the handling of the SFR vario as well as the SFR Shake Flask Reader, the new generation of ready-to-use shake flasks (SFS v4) with integrated O2 and pH sensors and the new universal clamps can be used for both SFR systems. The new clamps are designed for both plastic and glass flasks and follow the concept: one for all!

The revised SFR vario software “DOTR Flask Studio v.2.0” convinces with new features & functions, and is therefore an even better control center for the Shake Flask Reader.
